David F. Caballero founded Home Servicing, LLC in 2005.  In his role as managing partner, Mr. Caballero oversees all facets of corporate development and strategic planning.  He integrates resources, skill sets, and processes of Home Servicing to analyze and execute business opportunities. Caballero and his executive team have grown the managed portfolio to over $450,000,000 of low value first lien mortgages.  

Caballero founded Home Servicing; LLC with the belief that "keeping the doors open to home ownership” is critical.  He truly believes that more can be done to help the average homeowner keep the home of their dreams.  Caballero built an impressive background assisting companies to grow their portfolios, finding solutions to management problems, securing working capital, logistics and implementing strategic planning.   

 

Prior to founding Home Servicing, Caballero was the sole shareholder of Prime Acquisitions, LLC. Under his direction, Prime purchased and liquidated over $100,000,000 in low value first lien mortgages.  

From 1995-1998, Caballero served as director of Loan Acquisitions for Security National, a 3 billion dollar privately held mortgage investment fund.  Previously, Caballero was a senior collector of non-performing loans and then the REO manager for a portfolio of more than 2,000 low value properties nationwide.  From 1992-1995 Caballero was the operating partner at Tower Partners, LLC, a joint venture formed to acquire and resolve non-performing loans from RTC.  

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Caballero’s vast knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage industry has helped him achieve unprecedented success in his field.  Caballero has built a foundation for outstanding operational performance, improved financial reliability, while establishing a consistent record of meeting shareholder and investor expectations, along with renewed attention to a new core niche market of being the number one choice for first mortgage charge off sales and servicing for the mortgage investment community.  

Further evidence of his commitment to the communities that his company serves can be found at the causes that Caballero donates his time, talent and resources to.  Among them are The Juvenile Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Crones and Colitis Research Foundation.  Additionally, Caballero supports The Dunham School, Cancer Services and St. George Church and School.
