Tami Barnes, serves as Home Servicing, LLC’s controller.  Barnes is responsible for the overall financial duties of the company as well as managing daily fiscal operations and regulatory requirements for various investors and clients. 

Additionally, Barnes also manages and oversees the Human Resources department and Insurance Administration for Home Servicing.  Her skill at safeguarding Home Servicing assets, analyzing, budgeting, tax accounting, and strategic planning in relation to the financial aspects of the company is evident in the company’s success.

When asked why the company’s mission of "keeping the doors open to homeownership” was important, Barnes stated that she feels, "homeownership provides stability to both families and communities.”  She believes, "it is important for children to have a place that they can safely call home and can establish lasting friendships.  Home Servicing helps homeowners keep their homes through loan modifications, thereby in a small part, providing such stability.”

A native of Louisiana, Barnes graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minor in History.

Barnes believes in supporting the community through charitable contributions and volunteering for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, First Baptist Church and Louisiana State University Alumni Association.
