Joel Shook joined Home Servicing, LLC, in 2008 to lead the senior management team in the area of developing new business relationships for the third party mortgage servicing programs and distressed loan portfolio acquisitions.  

Mr. Shook previously served as Senior Vice President of C-Bass, LLC.  At C-Bass he led a productive sales team that acquired over $20BB in non-performing, “scratch and dent” and performing whole loan assets for the company’s portfolio and RMBS securitization program.  

Prior to this, Mr. Shook served as Vice President of Secondary Markets for Pacific Premier Bank.  In this role, he assisted Bank Parent with distribution of $500MM in residential and commercial mortgages.  His duties also included developing and implementing a whole loan trading strategy to meet liquidity and cash gain on sale needs of the mortgage banking division. 

A graduate of University of Washington, Shook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  

Mr. Shook and his family devote their time and resources to various charities, including Disabled Veterans Charity in Long Beach, California, High Hopes in Orange County for Brain Injury Victims, Childrens Hospital and Autism Speaks.
